Kidney health
Kidney is an important organ of the body. It perform many important functions in the body. Some of them are fluid management, Ion management, pH management, bone density, BP management etc.
These are been shaped organs on either side of spine, below


ribs and behind the belly. Each kidney is about 4 or 5 inches long, roughly the size of a large fist.
Blood reaches in Kidney through very thin blood vessels. Here it is filtered. Nephron is the tiny units which is responsible for the ultra filtration. These are millions in number. Filtered blood return to the body while filtrate is removed in form of urine.
If blood stops flowing into a kidney, part or all of it could die. That can lead to kidney failure. One can has only 10% working kidneys without showing any symptom or experiencing any problem.
